Mr. Michael Timothy Allen age 65 was born April 5 1958 in Dayton, Ohio.  He departed this life Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  He was a lifelong and faithful member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where he was once employed as the church custodian and in training to become a Deacon.  Michael held many jobs; however, he was mostly known for cutting grass.  Michael was a graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School, Class of 1977.  He was a member of the football team and track and field.  He served in the U.S. Army, Desert Storm, and U.S. Army Reserve.  Michael had a passion for music.  He was an accomplished bass player and drummer.  He worked hard, kept to himself, independent but willing to help and serve.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Thelma Chase, grandmother, Georgie Hubbert, brothers, Derek Cardwell and Tony Allen, special aunt and uncle, Wendell and Dorothy Hubbert.

He is survived by sisters, Jacqueline Chase and Tawanna (Michael) Andrews of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Joe Chase of Crofton, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a special childhood friend, Howard Whitmore.
