Mildred Baskin, born in Crenshaw County, Alabama, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She met her beloved husband of 48 years, William Baskin Sr. in Louisville, where they began their life together.
A committed and compassionate individual, Mildred Baskin, became a certified dietitian and served the veterans with pride and dedication during her career at the Dayton VA, from which she eventually retired. Even after retirement, her commitment to helping others did not wane. She continued to serve her community, volunteering with several organizations and touching the lives of many.
She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and continue to be inspired by her legacy of love and service.
