Nathaniel Titus Benson was born on November 27, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late William Leroy Benson Sr. and Dorothy Benson. He peacefully departed this life on July 30, 2026, at the age of 65.


Nathaniel attended Chaminade-Julienne High School and Dunbar High School. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and many talents. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and renovating homes. One of his greatest passions was cooking, and he found joy in preparing meals for family and friends. Above all, Nathaniel cherished his family and loved spending time vacationing and creating lasting memories with those he loved.


Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents, William Leroy Benson Sr. and Dorothy Benson; his sister, Carmelina Benson; and his brothers, Michael Benson and William Benson Jr.


He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 38 years, Terri Benson; his sons, Nathaniel Titus Benson Jr (Monica) and Dashawn Benson; his daughter, Nakisha Feaster (John); his beloved grandchildren, Dashawn Benson Jr., John Feaster Jr., Titus Feaster, Zuri Feaster, Damyiah Johnson, Nathaniel Benson III, Freedom Benson, Khloe Benson, and Forever Benson; and his great-grandson, Damien Benson. He also leaves behind sister-in-law; Jacqueline Benson and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.


Nathaniel will be remembered for his loving heart, generous spirit, unwavering dedication to his family, and the countless lives he touched. His legacy of love, hard work, and kindness will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
