Necia Lynn Connors, affectionately known to some as “Necia Lynn”, was born February 18, 1959 and was the eldest of 2 children born to the late Winifred Arlene Connors of Dayton, Ohio.

At the tender age of six, Necia was baptized into the Church of God and Saints of Christ where she remained a faithful member until the end, declaring and professing her love of God always quoting her favorite scripture (2 Timothy 3:16) - “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

Saint Necia was an active and influential member of Tabernacle #5 Dayton, Ohio holding positions as both church trustee and special daughter.

Saint Necia also joined the union choir holding a soprano seat both locally and nationally. 

In 1977, Saint Necia graduated from Nettie Lee Roth High School and went on to attend classes at Wright State University. 

Saint Necia, was a retiree of Montgomery County of where she worked for over 30 years and retired at the age of 56 from her position of Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Director of Sanitation. 

In the spring of 1983, Saint Necia gave birth to her one and only child, Sheena, her “baby girl” as she would always say.

One thing very important to know about Saint Necia is that she had the most outrageous laugh and cracked jokes on a regular!! You never know what she was going to say when you come into her presence and please do not have on the wrong wig because she was going to let you know out loud in front of everybody!!

Saint Necia departed this life on Thursday October 2, 2025 and leaving to cherish her memory one daughter, Saint Sheena Lattimore; two beautiful grandchildren St. Daniel and St. Lyla Lattimore all of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of loving aunts, cousins and church family. She was preceded in death by her mother St Winnifred A. Connors (1995) and brother Craig R. Connors (2017)
