Norma Jean Henderson was born to Claude and Evelyn Peavy on January 7, 1937. Norma departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. 

Norma was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister. Norma was a mother to so many others and showed so much love to her family and friends. Most of all Norma loved the Lord. 

Norma was kind and nurturing to all who she met. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Commer Henderson, Parents Claude Sr. and Evelyn Peavy, 5 siblings, son Darol L. Peavy, daughters Rochelle M. Abbott and Yolanda S. Wright and 2 great grandchildren. 

Survived by her children: Myra (Kim) McDonald, Harold (Valda) Williams, Gerald Williams, Valerie (Paul) Allen, Thomas (Dale) Williams. 

Siblings: Mary (Joe) Long, Cheri Green, Margaret Paschal, Claude (Imogene) Peavy Jr. Host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
