Norman Thomas Jouett, 81, of Dayton departed this life Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Grandview Hospital. He moved on to be with his heavenly father at that time surrounded by his loving family.

Norman was born October 18, 1941 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, to Samuel L. Jouett and Sarah Leona Jouett.

He was employed at numerous companies in Cincinnati, Ohio throughout his life. His latest employment was with Glawe Awning & Tent Co. in Fairborn, Ohio, where he retired.

Norman was preceded in death by his father, Samuel, wife, Lenell Maxine, son, Dominic, brother, Charles, sister, Geraldine, & step-daughter, Donna O’Neal.

Loved ones left to mourn his loss are son, Norman Jouett Jr. of Piqua, daughter, Sarah of Oxford, Ohio, mother, Sarah Jouett of Cincinnati, Ohio, sisters, Peggy (George) Moore of Cincinnati, Phyllis Stevens of Trotwood, Sandra Ferguson of Cincinnati, Pamela Hocker of Mt. Sterling, Ky. sister-in-law, Daisy Jouett. Grandchildren, Rachael Hudson, Norman Jouett III, Isaac Edward, Antonio Jouett, Brandon Jouett, Bryan Green and Justin Green; step-daughter, Stephanie O’Neal, step-son, Keith Jones, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
