Patricia Ann Armstrong, affectionately known as Patsy, was born on November 10, 1930, to the late Thomas and Verdell Herring, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the only daughter and was protected and cherished by her six brothers: Raymond, Thomas, Carl, Wallace, Jerome, and Timothy. She attended Dayton Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Dunbar High School, class of 1948. She was employed with Dayton Public Schools where she diligently worked for over 20 years until her retirement.
Patricia lived a full life with lots of love from family and friends. She transitioned into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 25, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers Raymond, Thomas, Carl, and Wallace, granddaughter Ericka, and great-great grandson Kartier.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful legacy of love her five devoted children: Richard Armstrong, Jr., Gary Armstrong, Rodney (Liza) Armstrong, Sr., Rhonda (Orvid) Perkins, and Kevin (Terrie) Armstrong. Two brothers: Jerome (Cheryl) Smith, and Timothy Smith. Her 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
