Paul R. Long, Jr.

Mr. Paul R. Long Jr. (Rick) born July 1, 1965 to the late Paul R. Long Sr. and late Henrietta Long.  He departed this life peacefully, September 9, 2020, at the age of 55.

He devoted his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a graduate of Trotwood Madison High School class of 1983 and attended Wilberforce University.  Paul was most recently, employed by the Greater Dayton RTA, Lenders Diversified and Montgomery County in the Child Support Enforcement Department.

A devoted husband and father, Paul was an avid lover of sports, muscle cars, fitness training, playing the drums and most importantly Prince.  His fondest memories were of the live concerts he attended with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Karen M. Long Woodard.  He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 24 years, Rhonda, sons, Paul III (Ricky) and Julian T, sister Debra Johnson, niece Mariel Bethany, nephew Cameron Jr., great niece and nephew Sophia and Riley Woodard, all of Dayton and a host of life long friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
