Obituary
Rebecca Lynn Hughes, age 30, transitioned into the hereafter on Sunday, February 19th, 2023, at Southview Hospital. She was born on September 15th, 1992, in Dayton, OH to Kevin Hughes Sr. and Bonnie Hughes. She graduated from West Carrollton high school in 2011. She attended Sinclair Community College to continue her nursing career after graduating from Kaplan college. Rebecca was a longtime employee of Montgomery County Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher. She later then transitioned to a position with Kettering Health as a patient representative. Rebecca was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan fan. Rebecca was a bright warm and joyful person; who had a wonderful and loud laughter that was contagious to anyone who was around her.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her brother Kevin Hughes Jr.; her aunt and uncle: Sheridan and Ricky Ellis III; her grandparents: Audrey Hughes, and Norman and Virginia Grierson.
Rebecca is survived by two daughters: Easton and Ayvah Hughes; a son: Korbin Adams; as well as her parents: Kevin (Stacey) Hughes Sr. of St. Mary's, OH and her mother: Bonnie Hughes of Dayton, OH; two sisters: Monique Hughes and Holly (Eriton) Wade; step sister: Bridget Keller; two step brothers: Jeremy (Valerie) Forsha of Washington Court and Andrew Forsha of St. Mary's, OH. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and a various mass of other family and close friends.
