Rhonda L. Long, age 55 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, August 5, 2024. Born and raised in Dayton, OH to the late Calvin P. Lark and Shelia Ann Brown (Bailey). She was a graduate of Trotwood Madison High School, 1987 and Wilberforce University, 2004. Rhonda was employed by Superior Dental Care (SDC) and faithfully attended Phillip’s Temple Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Paul R. Long, Jr. and her bonus father JT. Brown, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory beloved sons, Paul III (Ricky) and Julian T., sisters Angela (Michael) Stephens, Felicia (Lisa) (Rick) Harris, Regina (Daryl) Manson, Kimberly Harris, Shawn Slaughter-Pullin (Peter), Sharon (Brian) Bostick, brothers Larry Rucker Sr. (Karen), Kevin E. Bailey, Jan-Michael (Marjorie) Williams, Brandon Kaufman, and bonus mother Faye Lark: a host of nieces and nephews; a beloved aunt and uncle Vivian and Byron Goode, and cousin Leisa Goode. Visitation begins at 10 AM with services at 11AM, Friday, August 23, 2024 at Phillips Temple Church.
