Richard Robinson Jr.

Richard L. Robinson Jr. passed away peacefully at his residence Tues, June 21,2022 at the age of 74.

Preceded in death are his wife Laverne M. Robinson and his parents Richard L Robinson Sr, and Josephine (Wheeler) Robinson, and his brother Malcolm David Robinson.

He was born in Dayton Ohio and graduated from Nettie Lee Roth high school in 1965. He also proudly served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer on the USS Mauna LOA (AE-8) from June 1965- April 1969. He retired from General Motors and was a dedicated volunteer for 8 years at Mercy Manor.  He was a member of Bethesda Temple church. He loved to attend Car shows with his son Tony and was very skilled in carpentry.    

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lucille Robinson, and his sons Richard L. Robinson III (Nina) Robinson, Tony Robinson, His grandchildren Maria R. Robinson, Marshall A. Robinson and Veronica M. Robinson.  His siblings Donna Wright, Frances (Lucien) Minot, Michael J. Robinson, Barbara Hudson-Banner, Anthony J. Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. His smile, Jokes, and humor would brighten the lives around him and light up a room. He was a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and his presence will be greatly missed.
