Mr. Robert Michael Newell, age 68, was born July 18, 1953, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Marjorie Hicks and the late Robert T. Newell. He was the oldest of seven beautiful children. God peacefully transitioned his child, Robert Michael, to his heavenly home on, Sunday, April 17, 2022. He attended Jefferson Township High School and was a proud graduate of the class of 1972.
He dedicated his life at an early age and decided to follow Jesus Christ. He was a faithful member of True Christian Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio, under the leadership of Reverend John Williams. He served as a faithful member of the male choir, and labored with several church committees. He was employed as an assembly line worker for over 30 years with former General Motors, Truck & Bus Division, located in Moraine, Ohio.
Robert Michael had a love for football and was a dedicated fan of his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He was also an astute Grill Master, baker, and cook and enjoyed preparing delightful southern meals to share with his family and friends. Robert Michael was full of goodwill, laughter, life, love, and had an invigorating, contagious smile. He was a loving and devoted husband, an inspirational father, a heartening son, an encouraging brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to numerous individuals.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Regina M. Newell. Mother Marjorie Hicks, two daughters Tamika (Leo Pardon) Fletcher, Maria (Shelby Pooler) Dotson. Two sons Antuan Carpenter Sr. And Steven (Ariona) Dotson. One sister Karise Hicks. Two brothers Kelvin (Brenda) Hicks and Reginald Newell. Five granddaughters Kennedy Cook, Mia Fletcher, Aubrey and Brehlen Dotson, and Latawn Carpenter. Five grandsons Kahlen Cook, Mataeo Fletcher, Antuan Carpenter Jr., Qutaun Carpenter, and Kahlil Carpenter. Four Great grandkids. Special niece Amber Payne and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
