Robert Smith Sr.

Robert Smith, Sr. age 73, departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton and a 1966 Nettie Lee Roth High School graduate. A Vietnam-era veteran of the USAF and retiree of Delphi with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Estella Wright-Williams, brothers, Larry Smith & James Dixon and nephew, James Dixon. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons Robert (Julie) Smith Jr., Eric Smith; 2 daughters Schavorr Patton, Tiffany Smith; 2 brothers, Frank Dixon, Willie Dixon; 3 sisters, Bobby Jean Childs, Stella Dixon-Draper and Dorothy Dixon;  9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Taerah Jackson, J’Onna Clemons, Alex Warren, Eric Smith Jr., E’monie Smith, Torriyon Foster, Oliver Smith,   Riley Earley, Zoie Earley.  A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
