Robert Albert Hunter, III

Robert Albert Hunter III, aka “H” age 53 born October 4, 1967, went home to be with the lord on April 29, 2021.  He was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio however resided in San Antonio, Texas for the last 14 years.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert Hunter Jr., his uncle Richard Lacy, and maternal grandmother Pattie Lacy.

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Rashawna Hunter, six sons, Michael (Misha) Hunter, Kevin Hunter, Robert D. Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Latrell (Dashae) Hunter, and Tashaun Hunter, 17 grandchildren, his loving mother, whom he’d adored Sandra Lacy, his baby sister Kimberly (LaMorris) Willis, two brothers; Christopher and Richard Lacy. Special cousin Lemuel Booker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robert loved all sports. His passion for sports led to him to start a coaching career at the age of 19. He coached basketball and baseball in Dayton, Ohio and San Antonio, Texas. Leading many teams to championships and even led a group of second graders to runner-up in a national tournament.

Robert was a proud, passionate, man who loved his family more than anything. He will be missed dearly by many.
