Rosa E. Williams was born on March 5, 1940, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Louvenia Lee Daniels. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, surrounded by family at CareCore at Mary Scott – Nursing & Rehab in Dayton, Ohio. Relocating to Dayton during her youth, Rosa graduated from Roosevelt High School in class of 1959 and later became a Registered Nurse (RN) after attending Sinclair Community College. She dedicated 35 years of service to Miami Valley Hospital before retiring.

In June 1960, Rosa married John H. Williams, Sr., and together they were blessed with four sons during their 65-year marriage. Rosa’s true calling was helping others, and she lived a life devoted to caring for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Joseph F. Williams. Rosa is survived by her husband, John Sr.; three sons, John Jr., Jeffery, and Jerome (Jacqueline); grandchildren Neasha Williams, Jontay Stephens, Jonathan Williams, Terrell Williams, Justin Williams, Terrence Gay, Jeffery Williams, Jr., Jenna Williams, Terrell Williams, Malikhi Williams, Jason Williams, Mannie Coleman, and Kyle Williams; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends who cherish her memory.
