Rosemary (O'Neal) Plummer

Rosemary O’Neal Banks Plummer, 72, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on November 4, 2020.  Rosemary affectionately known as Rosie was born in Dayton, Ohio to Leaford O’Neal and Armena O’Neal on August 24, 1948 and was the youngest of all her siblings.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at a young age and baptized by Rev. D. W. McFarland at Mount Olive Baptist Church.

She attended Dayton Public Schools and graduated from Dunbar High School.  She worked at various companies within the Dayton area with People Transportation being her last job of employment before retiring.

Preceded in death by her parents Leaford and Armena O’Neal, brothers - Winston Fielder, Lorenzo O’Neal, William Harvey O’Neal Sr., and Roy L. O’Neal Sr., sisters - Dorothy Davis, Charlie Peters, Carrie Hayes, Betty J. Banks (whom she called Mom) and Carolyn Shelby.  Also her precious and faithful dog Paisley Plummer.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sister and caregiver Elaine Carter, sister-in-law Kazue O’Neal and brother-in-law Joe D. Banks Sr. (whom she called Pops) Even though Rosie didn’t have any children of her own she acknowledged the following as her sons Clyde Jackson, Chris Hayes, and Lonnie Meyer.  Beloved niece Tammy Banks Sansom (whom she called baby sister).  A host of many more nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.  Dear friends Venus Davis and Gloria Jean Johnson.
