Sharon Denise Herring was born August 29, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio to Lee Russell Brown and Ada Ruth Brown. She was the baby girl in a full family of seven. When young she, her siblings, and parents enjoyed picnics, running through the woods and celebrating the Fourth of July. Sharon was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School class of 1979, where she was voted “Best Dancer”, an accomplishment she loved to share.
Sharon was very intelligent and often pondered the psychological impact of life. She was a hunter and gatherer of love and lived her entire life carrying that sack full of emotions. Sharon found happiness in writing and often journaled and shared small pieces with her children. A natural chef, she could cook! Her favorites lasagna, beef & noodles, shrimp, and chili were enjoyed by many. As a dedicated employee of Napoleon’s Reloaded, she was appreciated and known for her lemonade.
Sharon was raised in the church and accepted Jesus as her Lord & Savior at a young age. She enjoyed gospel singing and would often be the first to stand with her infamous rock & clap “I Thank Ya Jesus”.
On June 12, 2021 Sharon transitioned from this life to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Michael Brown and Douglas Brown; mother-in-law Mary Louise Herring; and brother-in-law Bobby Burton.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memories her parents Lee & Ada Brown; children: Domini (Stanley) Upton, Charmaine (Jayson) Blunt, and Rodstin Herring; grandchildren: Delaney Herring, Shania Blunt, Riley Upton, and Max Upton; siblings Robert (Marie) Brown and Janice Burton; former husband but forever friend Norman Herring; close friends Buster & Debbie; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
