Sheila Renee Tinsley Obituary

Sheila was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother. She made her heavenly transition on August 9, 2024. She was the eldest daughter of Janice Ethel Maxwell (Deceased) and William (Mae) Maxwell. She lived a life full of love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her family.


Sheila was a proud graduate of Roth High School, class of 1975. Her professional journey was marked by a distinguished 33-year career as a Postal Worker for the Unites States Postal Service, from which she retired in 2014. Sheila’s work ethic and dedication were matched only by her deep love for her family.


Sheila is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Jonathan Tinsley. She was the loving mother of JeWan (Chandra) Tinsley, and Jason Tinsley. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren: Lamar Tinsley, Jejuan Tinsley, Chauntyele Tinsley, Deja Ayson, Jasmine Ayson, and Thailand Tinsley, and her beloved grandson Jonte’ Tinsley (Deceased).


Sheila’s memory will also be cherished by her siblings Curtis Maxwell, Keith (Sharon) Maxwell, Leonard Maxwell, and Gail Travino; close family Kim Powell and Gerry Maxwell and friends Danilla Abyeta, Carol Pulver, Angie Barker and Pat Allen


Her family and friends will forever remember her for her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she brought into their lives.
