Mrs. Shirley Ann Pritchett was born July 21, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to Fred, Sr. and Priscilla Benson. She relocated to Compton, California for most of her adult life. She returned to Dayton, Ohio until God called her home on June 18, 2025.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. L.C. Pritchett; parents Fred, Sr. and Priscilla Benson; son Keith Pritchett; sister, Priscilla L. Grissom; brothers: Charles, Fred Jr., Larry, and Ronald Benson.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Lawrence Pritchett and Anthony Pritchett (Adrienne); granddaughters: LaKeitha Pritchett-Brown (Victor), Antoinette Gonzales, Kasey Pritchett, Ariana Miller, Kyle McCoy; grandsons: Anthony Pritchett Jr. and Kash Miller; one sister, Barbara J. Smith; one brother, Henry Benson along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Shirley was the oldest girl out of eight (8) children. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Upon returning to Dayton, Ohio she joined The Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She loved her family and she loved life. She loved riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She also loved family gatherings and shopping.
