Teresa Lynette Reese-Johnson, age 54, was born on November 22, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to Calvin & Geneva Reese. She was a graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School Class of 1983 and Sinclair Community College with Associates & Bachelor’s Degrees in Applied Science specializing in Mental Health Technology/Chemical Dependency. She minored in African-American Studies. She was employed at Sunrise Treatment Center & Nova Behavioral Health as a Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Teresa loved and cherished her children and granddaughters. She was an avid reader and very artistic. She loved sketching, writing poems & writing short stories. She never passed on an opportunity to educate people about Black History. She was a hair and makeup diva! She loved her two dogs, Max & Swoop. She departed this life on Monday July 29, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin & Geneva Reese; brother, Todd W. Reese. She leaves to cherish her memory, life partner Ardonia O. Williams; sons, Carlos T. Reese & Carris C. Johnson; daughter, Cayla D. Johnson; granddaughters Tyla I.Turner & Tylan S.Turner; brothers, Carlvin J. Reese (Butch), Rodney S. Reese, & Kasey D. Chattams; sisters, Jeanne Montgomery Bell, Chanda D. Reese & Rhonda (Kenneth) Jackson; aunts, Annette Phelps & Cecilia Chattams; her children’s father, Patrick Dean Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
