Tiffney Danielle Blyden
November 9, 1980 - May 15, 2026
Tiffney Danielle Blyden, a devoted mother, loving wife, cherished daughter, and treasured sister, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026. She was born on November 9, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio, to Christine and Larry Sanders, the second of five children. She grew up in Jefferson Township and attended Blairwood Elementary, Radcliff Middle School, and Saint Albert for middle school. Tiffney graduated from Chaminade-Julienne High School in 1999. She went on to earn her associate degree in Business Administration from the National College of Business and pursued her bachelor's degree in organizational leadership at Wilberforce University, leaving just one semester shy to focus on her health.
In 2004, Tiffney was blessed with her only daughter and lifelong best friend, Kiara "Kiki" Sanders. In 2020, she married her husband, Javan Blyden, whom she met through the online group Stamp Collectors, bonding over a shared love of traveling. Together, they shared a relationship rooted in friendship, love, and adventure.
Tiffney's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights, she later joined the Marketplace Movement in 2012, where she shared her beautiful soprano voice on the praise team. On May 14, 2026, she was baptized bedside by Bishop Robert Lyons, reaffirming her commitment to her faith.
Her professional life reflected her love for people and children. Tiffney began her career at Wood Glen Nursing Home and devoted over 24 years to Small World ECDC, the family daycare center, where she worked as an office clerk. She was affectionately known as "Teetee" by many children whose lives she touched with kindness, patience, and love.
Tiffney had a vibrant and joyful spirit. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking for those she cherished, and traveling to tropical destinations. She found joy in gospel music, amusement parks, haunted houses, scary movies, and sweet treats like Snickers, watermelon Jolly Ranchers, and Ghirardelli brownies. She treasured moments with her niece Olivia ("Livi Lou") and nephews Saxton ("Tuggas") and Orlando ("Rhysie da Pooh"), who brought endless delight to her heart.
Tiffney is survived by her loving husband, Javan Blyden; her devoted daughter, Kiara Sanders; her parents, Larry and Christine Sanders; and her siblings, Corenzo Sanders, Orlando (Christina) Sanders, and Shandrial (Bradley) Sanders-Allen. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Sanders.
Tiffney's warmth, love, and infectious laughter will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of faith, family, and joy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
