Obituary

Vicki Lynn Brown 72, departed this life on Wed, July 5, 2023. Vicki was born Jan 2, 1951, in Dayton, OH to the late Cephas, Sr and Mary Lee Colquitt. Vicki attended Trinity Presbyterian Church all through childhood until she left for college. Vicki went to Dayton Public Schools graduating from Dunbar HS class of 1969. She studied at Miami University until she got married and moved to Santa Monica, CA for 18 years. Moving back to Dayton with her son Coley,  Vicki finished undergrad work and graduated from Miami University. Vicki had been employed by numerous businesses; Liberal Markets, First Nat'l Bank, Pacific Security Bank in CA, Kinko's, Inkwell, Dayton Correction, City of Dayton Finance,Kroger, Synchrony, and H&R Block. In her spare time, Vicki enjoyed crocheting or putting together family reunion booklets. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Cephas Jr, Lueweeta Wallace, and Mary A Pendleton. She is survived by her son Colquitt Roberte' Brown, Dayton, siblings James Gunn, Avon, IN, Cheryl Cunningham, Eileen Rey, and Karen Archie of Dayton, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear lifelong best friend June Williams, Washington Courthouse, OH and college friend Marcia Tobias, Cleveland, OH. A special thanks to H H Roberts Mortuary. Final Disposition: Cremation.
