Wesley Rennard Black

Wesley Rennard Black age 69, departed this life on November 4, 2021 with his parents by his bedside at Carlisle Manor in Carlisle, Ohio.

He graduated from Nettie Lee Roth High School in Dayton, OH. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Marines. Wes loved God, cooking, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary MB Church. Rev. S.N. Winston, Jr. Pastor.

Preceded in death by his brother, Walter A. McClendon, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: parents Eloise and Oria Pridgen, sister Jackie Stevenson, niece LaTrisha (Sam) Stevenson, great nieces Marelle’ (Marcus) Leach and Makai; nephews Samuel Stevenson, IV of Arlington, TX, Walter Jr. (Cassandra) McClendon and Ava of Columbus, OH, two aunts and a host of other family and friends.
