Willie Doris Dunson passed away Monday August 18, 2025. She was a member of the Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until the Lord called her home.

She had a joy for learning, especially studying the Bible and growing in God’s word. She faithfully attended Sunday school, Worship Service, and Wednesday Bible study. She was an active member of the Nursing Home and Senior Mission ministries, which she absolutely loved. After her stroke in 2023, she remained devoted in spirit to her church and pastor. Unable to physically return to church, she continued to attend Mt. Enon’s worship service online.

Christian Soldier, Bold Witness for Christ. When the opportunity arose, Willie Doris shared with others the importance of being saved and how to be saved. She set the Christian example for her children and grandchildren, teaching them the Word and living a Christian life before them. When it came to praising God, she unashamedly lifted her hands in the sanctuary and shouted for joy in the Lord. She will be greatly missed.

Her Home Going Services are Friday, August 29th. The viewing will be at 10:00 am. Services will follow at 11:00 am. The location will be at Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third Street, Dayton, OH 45402.
